Super Bowl Kicking Record Broken
Butker's 57-yarder sets new mark
Historic kick helps Chiefs extend lead
Going into Sunday, the Super Bowl record for the longest field goal was 56 yards, set by Adam Vinatieri in Super Bowl XXXVI.
Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker topped it by hitting a 57-yard field goal in the third quarter to give the Chiefs a 13-6 lead over the Philadelphia Eagles.
The kick was the longest in Super Bowl history and also the longest in Butker's career. It was a clutch kick that helped the Chiefs extend their lead and put them in a good position to win the game.
Butker's kick is a testament to his skill and accuracy as a kicker. He is one of the best kickers in the NFL and is a key part of the Chiefs' success.
